an idea and a question or 2

Being done and there are alot of changes needed

if possible i would lean toward a cr250 or yz250 setup the yz seemed to almost be a direct fit.

if the jug will fit the tranny, there shouldnt much to mod.
its just a swap from air cooled to water cooled. TORS would be gone, radiator would be added. the cc's would be able to go close to or above 300 with a bore/stroke kit. this would be for my girlfriends blaster.
for mine i'm looking to go with an fj1100 or gpz 750 turbo powerplant.

Not sure how well that would bolt in there, but either way I'd suggest spending the $100 to replace the top end on the blaster, then sell the motor if you still want to do the swap. The cash would come in handy I'm sure.

yeah dude that wont ever work and even if it did line up and bolt down you would make no more power over the stock jug as the triz has only 2mm more bore than a stock blaster ,it gets the displacment from its long 68 mm stroke so thats not happening you might as well forget that idea ..also the triz is really old outdated port design about as archaic as a blaster cylinder is

didnt think of the water pump. just sifting through ideas @ the moment. havent really bought specific parts for her blaster yet. i have yet to ride a blaster but really enjoy the power of my tri-z. that 50 extra cc's makes a difference, especially when both the tri-z and blaster weight pretty close. i dont see how hard it would be to just swap over to the whole tri-z set up. all i can see that i need would be complete engine, single radiator with a fan added, might could use the blaster fat pipe. and the wiring. as for the outdated ports, none of it will be stock.
everything will get moded in 1 way or another. Im in noway bashing you knowledge or advice, just want to expand what choices i might have for 2 stroke power. wether its 200,250, 350 or 400cc.
