All of you running FMF pipes

so how will this pipe mount up to the motor? it didnt come with a flange to bolt up to and where do i find a spring for it? the guy i got it from said that i could use my my old flange. but how will it come off the old pipe cause its made on it?

You should be able to use your stock flange. It's not welded onto the stock pipe, it's just held there on the end with the two stock bolts that mount to the motor. Once you loosen the stock pipe, it should come right off. Make sure that you keep the stock O-ring gasket (It's probably about 1.5" in diameter, and looks like it made of metal) because you will need to re-use that. Most of the time it stays stuck inside the exhaust port, try to clean it up as best as possible before re-using it. You will also re-use those stock bolts to re-mount the flange and new pipe to the motor. Hope that helps a little. Also, I think rocky mountain sells exhaust springs for a few bucks if you're still looking for those.

^^^Yeah my bad man. To the OP, disregard my last post, it was all wrong. I didn't realize until after I posted it. You have to call FMF and order the correct flange for your pipe.

think ive made my mind up im goin to run the powercore2 silencer. everyone look on their local craigslist and let me know if you come up with one shoot me the info on itI:I

na dude dont do what people tell you to do fmf shorty is a good pipe try it out never heard one on a blaster but im positive its a lowend hit pipe and louder than a powercore2 because its a shorter core:D

ok i finally found two different silencers but now i gotta make up my mind i can get a fmf shorty for $65 or a brand new fmf powercore4 for $100.
whats up with the pc4 cause i seen everyone say pc2 but this one i found is the pc4. what the difference? the guy also said he bought it to go on a honda xr50 so will it fit the blaster?
