In your dreams.
I am about to remove the snorkel to my stock airbox lid as the 400 EX shock I installed has take up the space that it used to run.

I got yelled at on here for running my machine without its lid and am wondering if anyone can help me with the size and amount of holes to drill in the lid after I cut the snorkel off.

I do not want to rejet the carb so was wondering if anyone knows if I need to drill holes in the lid after the snorkel is removed (plan on removing right where it comes off the lid). Maybe I will not need to drill any, I don't know.

Looking for any help I can get.

Thanks!

You shouldn't need to drill any holes. It will pull are from the hole where the snorkel was.

Why were you "yelled at" for removing your airbox lid? There's nothing wrong with it as long as you rejet and keep water out of it.

in fact removing it should give you more power just move about 1 or 2 main jets higher, as for removing the snorkel i dont think it will change the airflow unless you mean the entire lid

just removing the snorkel will not effect jetting, and has to be done for the 400ex shock as mentioned
drilling holes in the lid, or removing it, will require rejetting 1-2 sizes bigger, as also mentioned
