airbox and 400 ex shock

i am using the oconnor busshings with the trx250r shock on my sons, possibly the atc250r doesnt need them

with the 400ex and 450r, the bushings go inside the mounts, to make up space for the thinner head, and smaller bolt

for the wider head 250r, it'll need ground down to fit, then the bushings on the outsides of the mount for the smaller bolt

Well im goign to go with a trx250r rear. I'll look at how it installs and let you guys know if I end up having to have the bushings.

whats the length of the stock blaster shock vs a trx250r shock?

Just trying to calculate the diference of when i put the +4 swingarm on.

they way im pictureing it in my head the longer its extended the shorter the shock needs to be.

yea, 250r shock, just grind down the collar on the top of shock and it will fit nicly and then just use stock blaster bolt

you guys are using a different year shock than i have, i definately needed kens bushings, and with a +4 on my sons, but it was ridiculously higher, around 6", i had to fab a new mount to settle it back down to near stock height, but it has like 12" of travel at the rear grab bar, and rides like a cloud, awsome shock, just takes some work

no, mine is definately a "trx shock", like 87 or 89,
i saw the other parts he had for sale, i wouldnt have grabbed a 30 year old atc
i might add, this was an already existing fabbed mount, from whoever built the swinger, maybe it was off a little
