air shrouds

I dont know if this topic has been addressed but if has sorry(to lazy to search) and one of the mods can move it.

But do the air shrouds really make any differance on the motor is is just there to funnel the air across the head? I see Blasters with and without them at all levels of builds.

So are they worth it or not? Or is this a personal prefferance?

One serious issue for any motor, but especially air-cooled, is heat. Yeah they look neat, more importantly, they can't hurt.

I'd agree with royalt....and i'd imagine they help a good bit at faster speeds to get more air onto the motor.

not only do they allow the channeling of cool air over the engine , they also provide more surface area to put stickers on =) " This sticker is silly and dangerous , but I do love me a good newton "
