Iam new to the forum and have a question about a air leak i have on my 2001
blaster. the motor will not hold air it goes out as fast as it goes in! i found one leak around the reed cage, but it is not a big enough leak to go that fast.
i also noticed air coming from the crank case vent tube. I have replaced the crank seals and top end. any ideas on where it might be leaking? everything is sealed tester, exhaust..... i have done alot of searching but couldnt really find the answer.
thanks

i dont think i damaged the seals. i was very careful about installing them.the reed cage is the only leak i have found and its a small one.

If the seal is new, correct and inserted properly and air comes out of the breather, there must be a hole or a crack between the crancase and the gearbox.

i will recheck the seals. i hope its not in the cases. i have a 02 thats getting a new crank next week. i dont want to split the cases on both!

well i clamped the vent tube off and it will hold air. i still need to check the clutch seal, but its probably leaking between the cases.
