Hey guys I'm gonna try my hand with makeing a pair of air fin scoops similar to Project Blaster's idea of directing the air into my blaster. Anywho I'm useing 2 sheets of 22 gauge 18X6" stainless steel that I just picked up at the local hardware store for $3.99 a sheet pretty decent price as long as it's less than 8-10bucks you cant really complain.
My dimensions are roughly 13 1/4" long from the bottom plastic brace that meets the frame to the top plastic brace that meets the frame. And between 5 and 6" wide. FYI I will update later when I have degree's of angles and pictures of the finished product later on. Also If anyone has close ups of their Project Blaster fins I'd appreciate the help along with colors to use on an 04 blaster red and white special edition. Thanks

i believe there has been a few "DIY's" on this subject, and maybe even dimensions if i remember correctly, search for them or scan thru the diy section
and i say let them bare stainless look

I used a sheet 6 x 12 of aluminum I got at Westlake I made a cool design that I had never seen before out of it. Look at my threads to find it I'm on my iPod or I would post a link for you

Cool thanks 7 that's what I want something different and unique where everybody asks where you got em I'm gonna try and mold it in cardbord and see what I like.

I got my basic shape on the card board cut out but I cant figure out where the hell your supposed to mount the bottom piece (looking at 1995's blaster 1st and 3rd picture in the link, half way down the page)???????? top piece back end with the bottom piece back end where that wire holder is in that general area??????

Well this is the finished product finished in 3 days the first Picture is the left , Center head on and right Final lengths were 14 1/2'' long and 6'' wide I just took me a bit longer to figure out how to mount them. After I finished I took some WetDry 600 fine grit sand paper and now its as smouth and as shiny as a baby's bottom.........Dident turn out to bad at all for a first try.I know all of love your childrens books as kids so here's some pictures.
