I took the airbox cover off my blaster yesterday and i noticed a good increase in torque. So i was wondering if i could get rid of the whole air box and get
a air filter to put right on the carb. Also would i have to change the jet if i do this. Im running a 230.

Yes. I do this with most quads and bikes I have. Get a clamp on uni there about &17.99, and cut out the air boxI:I You may want the up the jetting, try it with out jetting first, then if its running lean up a jet size of two.
What other mods do you have?

i wouldnt get a clamp on if you trail ride all it will take is 1 puddle and your sucking it up in your motor, if you race go for it, just jet it rich and work your way down.

I usually ride in the dry stuff(sand, Hard pack) i dont get out on trails too much. Dont they make the k&n filter covers water proof? I dont have any other mods yet still trying to make a plan on what im going to do without busting the bank.

Is the k&n a noticable difference form the uni?

I probably will up the jets what do you guys reccomend? I will probably be getting vforce reeds and pipes later on too.
