I don"t know???????
I finale got my cylinder back after 3 1/2 months.. I called them after about 2 months and they told me that they had no 72.25 pistons they only have some 72.50 pistons but they did not want to skip a bore on my cylinder and i agreed...
You would think that they would tell you that they had no pistons for you when you call them before you send them your cylinder but they dont.. Then 1 1/2 months later i get my cylinder back and guess what X( they skipped a bore i got a 72.50 piston... What the F$%K if they where going to give me a 72.50 piston why the hell did they not give it to me 2 1/2 months ago????X( AND they also sent me the WRONG GASKET SET wtf X(...

They also told me that i dont have to trench the case for a +4 stroker and that i only have to grind out a bit out of the top of the case for rod clearance.. thay are full of poooooo just look at my pics..:o It looks like i will have to take out about .020 a side??

wow, id be callin up there flippin a sh*t right about now. And are you gonna get that topend ported to match the crank or run the spacer?

Also when i called them before i sent my cylinder i also asked them about the hole that goes from the intake to the stud hole that gave me a air leak, and they told my that it dont hurt anything because the washer and acorn nut will seal the stud hole.... Can you see the hole in the pics??? The last pic is the cylinder stud, washer and acorn nut... Can you see the crack on the acorn nut from the stud going up to far in to the nut??

and you sent it back to them to fix why ??? warranty ???

cause as i see it,...........
the hole still needs fixed, (welded if it were mine)
the cases still need trenched,
you lost a year or 2's worth of service with the over bore,
you won't be making it to awk mountain,
and you'll be needing the number at the bottom of my sig pic

this all really sucks bro, no wonder most peeps are bypassing them nowadays and going straight to the source...........LA Sleeve

I sent it back just to get a bore, piston & rings, port for 4mm, gaskets, new stud kit and head work for the 4mm... I also decided i was going to fix the hole in the cylinder after i got it back so they dont f#*K up my work.... It looks like me and my machinist friend are going to ream out the stud hole with a reamer from the bottom up and stop right past the end of the port and sleeve it with a lol arrow shaft...hahahaha

I think i will post some pics of us trench the case and fixing the cylinder...

And i am done dealing with CT racing!!!!
Next time i need a bore job or motor work or a re sleeve im going to kenoconnorracing..

so this will be done, running and i will see you on the mountain in 3 weeks ?????

ps, i hunt archery and have used old aluminum arrows for tons of fixes and what not !!!!

So that's what those intake ports look like!

Sucks they screwed you over like that. I'd definitely be calling and asking for a refund of sorts. Sorry for the inconvenience, I would have guessed they would have done a ton better...

It's not looking good for me to be running in time for the mountain in 3 weeks, but if it is running in time i may be breaking it in at the mountain...

yeah i had the same damn problems with the reed cage bolts execpt mine didnt crack the inside just outside, also those bolts are POS's everyone of them snapped at 7 ftlbs i got allen head bolts that were a tad shorter, they also help with the cage not sealing problem with the POS bolts. also i used stock cylinder nuts same thing happend with mine also. you know for the money we pay for these cylinders they sure as hell arent worth it sh*tty hardware, sh*tty customer service, mine had casting flaws, etc

man id be telling them to give me a new cylinder, they f*cked u and u missed a bore on the cylinder now, so ur cylinder has less life than it did for no reason!! man i would be friggin livid with that bullshit then the whole reed cage deal would throw me over the edge man, dont lay down and take it, fight with them till they do something about it.
