i just joined this site because i need opinions on what to do with the blaster. i bought a 1989 blaster for $200 and it needed work. i went through the motor and ended up rebuilding the top end. now i want an fmf exhaust system but i have no clue what to do about jetting the carb. i also want to get different reeds. any suggestions?

stock blaster jetting is 230 main, with a fmf pipe airbox lid on i think around 270ish would be good. everyone that has em loves the Vforce3's ive used boyesen power reeds my last few times but i think im going to try boyesen pro series next.

yeah 270-280 on the main jet and needle in the 3rd (middle) clip

fmf is a "ok" pipe maybe look in to a shearer or a toomey they are much better

sorry i have been away so long there are so many blaster forums i forgot which one i registered on. well i guess this one is it. a guy at work gave me a bills pipe and silencer. other than that the bike is stock. what adjustments should i make to the carb? also what should i change in the winter? im in indiana at 800ft.
