Adly SF50 Scooter surprise

Last week I got an Adly Bug Jive 50cc Scooter.

Until today when you gave it the gas it would just sit and say, "so you want me to go"

Removal of the exhaust, cleaned out a little carbon and drilled 3 strategically placed holes, and it gave my lad a nice surprise.

Looks like you found a sweet spot. Did the exhaust have a restrictor plate? Check the carb for a restrictor plate as well. Looks like fun.

No conical restrictor in the exhaust. I drilled some interconnecting holes in the muffler and relieved some of the restrictions there.

I did look up the port and it seems like only half the port is open to gas flow, that may have to be sorted.

I have a performance pipe on order, so when I re jet for it I will modify the inlet.

I only bought this little fella because I lent my mobility scooter to a lady who broke her ankle and I needed something to nip to the shops on.

I used to work at a shop that builds performance scooters.Is it a 2 or 4 stroke?i have put a big bore kit on a 4 stroke scooter.It would reach over 55mph

Yup, and a 100cc Bolt on unit which you can also get a big bore for.
