Added CC?

I just got thinking and I was wondering does a modified crank or porting add or decrease the cc? Kind of confusing question but if you know the answer.... lol

idk the awnser lol, but i know theres alot of crap (number x number ect..) that goes into adding a cc

Yeah yesterday a kid in school said that if you have a +3 crank it makes a 240 a 244. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Alright. Thats what I thought. If it's a PLUS crank it would take up some of the crank case space thus DECREASING CC right?

stroker crank will add some cc's but i dont see how porting would?

porting wont... there are only two things that add ccs. boring and a longer stroke. ccs are determined by the total displacement of the cylinder throughout 1 revolution. soo if the cylinder goes 3mm farther in travel than it normally would thats an increase in the ccs... or if the cylinder is bored larger... those are the only ways to add ccs...
