Actual experiences with a 34MM PJ?

hey guys the build is nearing the end and here's the engine mods

FMF fatty pipe
Wiesco piston
Boyesen dual stage reeds
YZ80 silencer
stock jug, no porting, stock head


now i'm going back and forth between breaking it in with the stock carb or the 34mm. Looking for ACTUAL experience with this carb on a mostly stock motor, to see if i'm gonna be ok, or if i'm going to have an extremely overcarbed mess

id say to much carb for you just my opinion.

I would stay with the stock carb... go to FMF web site get the jetting for the carb and use the 34 for when you get more done too the motor. Just my 2 cents......

yes wait till you get a port for a bigger carb

yes, my 34 was givin me fits, but my cylinder is at the porters so we'll see when i get it together how it acts, if it fuks with me more, it'll be goin down the road and i'll get a prejetted 30mm from valleycycles(PB.com), snyder motorsports, or xcbobs on ebay
