okay, first off i'm not trying to be an a**hole but please dont answer this question with an i think or maybe. please only answer if you know.
So i can get 100 Octane fuel from the local airport for like $4 a gallon, and i plan on running it in my quad sometimes at least when its really hot outside since i know in most cases, the higher the octane the cooler the engine will run, or at least thats how our old kt100 karts ran. my question is, will i have to rejet richer to run aviation fuel? i know it sounds contradictory to what i just said, but i've heard somewhere that it contains more oxygen and is cleaner so it will run hotter. if this is the case, can i jet it just right for the aviation fuel, and then it just run rich on premium? this may be a stupid question but i figured i should ask some of the pros on this site to get some input before i screw something up

that fuel is designed to run way up in the air, so you will have to jet up

for what its worth, in a friend's drag car he picked up .15 to the eighth mile by going from av fuel to 91 pump gas....

Every actual PRO I can think of says don't use AV gas. Duncan Racing says to "avoid AV (and pump fuel) because it can give inconsistent jetting results and make your engine run hotter."

i was just talking to brandoz and i think i'm just gonna run premium. my engine isnt set up to where it needs high octane stuff, but i'm gonna be riding it hard all day on saturday and its supposed to be mid to high 90's all day so i wanted to run whatever runs cooler

i rode my '96 for years in all types of temps, and sometimes all day and night, with my ex girlfreind hangin on the back, with a beer in her hand,
sold that bike after 8 years with the stock piston in it, and it still started within 1 or 2 kicks
if its jetted correctly now, i wouldnt worry about it, theres guys who run in that temp and higher everyday
grip it and rip it!!!!!
