98 warrior. Should I get?

Yeahhh. I want something better than my suzuki, faster, bigger. And I want something more reliable than my blaster, so I'll probably end up going with it. But have you guys heard of any problems from the warrior?

Well other than people saying there on the heavy side and unbalanced. The warrior itself and the engines are very reliable from the reviews ive read.

Yea and invest in a pull starter for it for a backup...Cuz the electric starters dont stay in them very long...The oil gets threw the seals and fries the starters after about 3 months. But they are great machines. And oh if anyone is trying to tell u they are slow and gutless dont listen...Mine left 6 gears of rubber on dry pavement with good tires and had no problems passing cars on main st...where the speedlimt it 45. I never had to touch 6th gear. Only complaint is slow as reverse. You can put it in reverse and let clutch out with out any gas and the thing will just chug along then u can lock the front brakes up and she still goes. They are descent...You just gotta learn how to drive it to be able to get power out of it..Dont be afraid to get some rpms out of her..I was at first thats why i thougth they were junk at first but there not...anyway i am done rambling on..But yea get itt

I had a cobra slip on pipe and an aftermarket adjustable cdi box and a k&n high flow air filter. And if you hear clunking when ur turning it over with the starter dont worry bout it its a typical in warriors.

you seem as if you want the warrior so go for it but my point here is the ozarks definately worth more if it runs and its in decent shape..i would just sell the ozark and grab somethin between $1500-2k because the ozarks will get you preety close to that range. but if you want it go for it man

Yeahhh. It probably is worth more, but its not in the greatest shape either. I think im gonna get the tires, order some brake pads, and install the tires and give him the brake pads. Then sell my plow seperatley.

have you ever actually ridden it? my buddy i ride with has one.... we made a silencer for it out of a glasspack to try to get some more power, and he put smaller tires on it and different gearing, but that thing is still gutless.... don't get me wrong, it probably has a lot more horsepower than my blaster, but it's sooo stinkin heavy it needs twice what it has. you ever look at the crankcase on it? like 3 times the size of the blaster crankcase... and maybe he just doesn't know how to ride (lol), but he's always getting stuck in mud and not makin hillclimbs that i do on the blaster with holeshots...

Idk I think he might suck, cuz my dad had one and he said they were kickass. And they cant get much worse than a 250. I'm gonna laze on this guy anyway, my quad is obviously worth more, so im gonna give him the 250 (with new tires) and order some brake pads and pop pins and hand them to him. And keep my plow and sell it.

the warrior is gutless, try trading your suzuki for a 400ex or something in that class or sell it out right and then buy something you like.
my old warrior, had a stroker kit, full fmf exhaust, k+n, the works and it still lost to a piped 400ex, that ran like sh*t.
it is very hard to make a warrior lighter and the bulk of the weight is from the engine.
dont get me wrong, my warrior was able to climb any hill mainly because it was a tank that had low center of gravity, and not a sh*t load of power to spin the wheels.

I've had my suzuki for sale for a half a year now. I'm obviously not picking up any offers... I figure if I can get a bigger bike then whats the harm? Idk maybe I'll look for a 400.
