96 blaster

heres a couple pics of my 96 blaster i bought off a friend for $100 it was drove into a tree and the front of the frame was bent as well as a pr of a arms, but i got another frame, and a arms, and the motor needs a set of crank bearings, but i figured it would be a great project ot tke to boces as my sr autobody/ fab project, what plan on doing ot the blaster is painting the chassis kawasaki green with black plastics, extending the swing arm 4-6", make the a arms and tie rods 3" wider on each side, find some smaller tires and rims, trim the fenders, get a DG bumper and rear grab bar, clean and polish up everything, and what not

nothing pretty to look at yet lol

Nice project. I hope it turns out well. If only I could find a person like that who'd sell me that kind of blaster for that cheap.

you got a great deal, looks like a good project, there is acouple ppl on here that painted there frame green and it looks good..

it kinda looks long, but it doesnt have a grab bar so that makes it look long. its still a big boy

i think thats the fmf turbinecore silencer, their real long like that

yeah def a long muffler haha but i figured that i wanted to build up a quad ive built sleds and dirt bikes and what not figured i turn it into a nice rider, but i didnt relized how many blasters there are out there and all the extra parts and reasonable prices as well, i spend hrs looking online for parts:-D but i will keep you all posted on my progress my goal is to get it done buy the end of march for an atv fun run

but eventully i might use it for parts for another race set up chassis, and keep some extra parts i'll need but i'll let you guys all know if and when i do

got everthign all stripped off my old chassis and got the steering and front end put on my newer chassis and rear suspension ect.. on it so all i gotta do is get this 240 big bore motor a friend has and comes with a 34mm kehnin carb freshrebuilt with 8 hrs on it as well but i am hoping to get it up to school to start painting and polishing
