I picked this Blaster up almost a year ago. Believe it or not but it was a bigger piece of sh*t when I got it. The previous owner was using the wrong chain which "ate" the sprockets and part of the case. Was also missing rear brake, silencer, and front shocks were mismatched. So to get it running I replaced some or the electronics: new coil, ricky stator stator, wiring harness, and cdi. Also has oil injection block off and Diamond J shock conversion kit. I'm running Raptor 660 front shocks. With the old shocks I would bottom out on the ruts around here easily, so I needed more ground clearance and a stiffer front (rear shock is stock). The plastic were cracked/painted when I got it, thats why it looks like a bag of skittles.

cool deal man how do the raptor shocks ride for ya

they're stiff, but thats more my style. i'm not tall (5'7-5'8) but not light either (220 +/-), so the stock ones (probably needed to be rebuilt) were just too soft. i like the option that i can adjust the front ride height 4 different ways as well (with that conversion kit).

looks good man .. haha skittles . did the 660 shocks mount right up ??

they won't mount to a stock blaster mounting points, too long. other then that, yea. i had to add bushings to the lower parts of the shocks, because mine were missing. another thing i like is they are cheap, compared to yfz450 shocks, which everybody and their brother is after.

ok thanks for the info .. i am bidding on a cheap set on ebay right now if i get then ill get them to work either way lol.. cause i am a big dude to 215lbs and the stocks aren't cutting it for me lol ..

that '94 has long been parted/stripped, along with the one in the background. only things i saved were the 6-pak rack, 660 shocks, and those sexy realtors.

was replaced with two '03s. one is stock other isn't..

this one needs a top end, thats why the exhaust is off. the +3 arms might be too wide for where i ride. i have a set of chrome +2 arms coming in this week. stock shocks will be gone as well. frame is powdered coated. plastic need to be sanded and resprayed.
