I have an old dirtbike that runs great but the clutch stopped working. Cable is in good condition but I was wondering if cleaning up the clutch would fix it.. It will work sometime but I don't wanna dump money in this old bike

Maybe the fingers on the clutch basket are grooved and need a filing to smooth them out.

maybe the plates are sticking togethor? has it been sitting?
