My friend got a blaster basket case and the cylinder looks fresh still has the cross hatches the bore is at 68.4276, what size piston should he get?

Uhm I think you would round to a 68.5. Not quite sure what the rings would do for clearance but someone else should know better than me. lol

thats as far as you can go,you will have to resleeve next time you rebuild the topend,i dont even think wiseco make 68.50mm pistons anymore

not unless its longrod piston, the wrist pin height from the center to the piston crown is taller on the banshee

I think it's time to visit Ebay to find a donor cylinder

Don't chunk that cylinder if it's good for resleeving but 68.5mm is larger than the maximum available piston.

who measured it? the largest blaster piston for the stock cylinder is 68.25mm you need to measure it with the proper tools not just a set of calipers

The CL of the wrist pin to the edge of the piston crown on a standard shee piston is taller than the blaster,I'm not familiar with the trex pistons.I bet at 68.50mm what's left of that sleeve is very thin.
