hi guys im thinking of putting a 600cbr engine in my blaster i can get a complete cbr 600 bike for £200 has anyone here done it or got pics i no its been done as thees one on youtube also if i do it what would my blaster engine be worth its a good complete engine runs great and i also got a complete fmf exhaust system what would that be worth aswell in gbp

I dont think it would be safe to do... The blaster frame is made for a smaller, lighter, and less powerful engine.

This swap has been done before and most sell them shortly after. A stock blaster will eat a cbr600 blaster in the trails all day long. What are you trying to achieve? If you just want something to rip down the road occasionally and be a large shop ornament then that motors a good choice. Not much fun when you have a street bike motor in a quad and you can't ride it on trails other than 1st or 2nd gear. At that point stick with a blaster motor. With some porting,rechambered head,etc you can double a blasters power and ride it anywhere anytime .

It is not the machine that matters, though it helps if it is a MIG, it is the operator that needs to be good.
All areas of stress, engine mountings, swing arm pivots, shock mounts and even steering components would have to be beefed up to make it safe.
A lot of gusseting done by a very experienced operator who knows how to avoid thermal disturbance within the welds would be needed.

There is plenty in the USA. Any good builder will port and ship that cylinder back to you. There's a few shops in the uk doing blasters also. However not sure if they are making the power we are in the good ol USA.

I also have a ct racing sonic top end kit the boys here will tell u it's one off the best u can buy, also have a 36mm Keihin airstriker which will add loads of topened and a 32mm mikuni for abit more low end power. I can get u most parts and I'm in Northern Ireland

I'm in the uk so can sort u out, there are loads of engine builders Ed Davies, Ian e, don't know if Steve clitheroe is still going. I can also get my engine builder to do u one over in Northern Ireland but shipping will be fine cause it's within the uk. I'll sell this ct package for the same price as good porting and it's already ported and is a far superior cylinder
How do you sell a ct cylinder package for the same as porting? There $1200 here unported. I'll take 5 at your $300 or so price.
Cause it's 2nd hand and In my race class the cylinder has to be standard so it's illegal in my class.
