got my rear mudlites in today, so put them on, then put the XCRs on the LTR... one of the XCRs was damaged in removal/installation and leaks down :( small holes but they leak quick. the rims kept popping off their machine... gonna see if they can patch it but since this is the pic section...

I MAY just sell them to pay loans off then get a house. I told the wife I'd keep the trx250r and LT80 if I do LOL. MAY sell the 250r if I can pull good cash out of it. but it's the newest addition so I don't even want to consider getting rid of it yet lol I'll get pix of the 250r this or next weekend when I go see it and work on it. not into driving 2 hrs. this is the top end I may get for it. dune ported 67mm for a +4 stroker.

not sure tho, but it's got new piston/rings/gaskets and is freshly honed and ported $200+ shipping is what I'm trying to get the top end set for. I'll still need a 4mm adapter as my 88 trx250r has a long rod I believe... gonna look at the motor good this weekend and will know for sure. but if it's the stock 88 motor, I believe it is, it should be a long rod I do believe.

oh, can anyone tell me what that head markings mean 12* I think it says? I'm guessing 20cc means something with the compression chamber? PTR power head must be the brand or something, clearly my piston is 67mm say's it on the piston too but didn't post that pic, so I'm just trying to figure the 12* and 20cc and I suppose whatever else you can tell me about it tho lol.

thanks! IF I don't sell them, they're both far from done.

yeah, I kinda started to figure it out the engravings via searching yesterday, except the 12* I thought after MAYBE it was a 120 for 120oct lol, but also saw they do have degree's of chamber I think I saw on Duncan Racing's site. but I figured the 20cc was size of chamber, and PTR is Paul Turner Racing I believe now as I found via searching and a power head is what that assembly is called, kinda like a cool head I guess? domes are only $50 so I could always get another one to run regular gas. but the long rod 250r motors are usually higher compression I believe and alot of built ones run race fuel, I suppose if I'm making a racer may as well do a real race build lol

I run 110 i mine. It compression tested at 210psi and pretty dam hard to kickstart without boots on.

Yeah its a cool head. Once you get it all together you can do a compression test to see what kind of gas you need. If you have the long rod motor make sure you put the spacer plate in there, I know you mentioned it earlier.

Get your jetting down and just make sure you let it warm up a few minutes before ripping on it and it should last you a long time.I:I

you got lots o money man lol

I'm almost 30yrs old. I've been an electrician for about 9 years now. I don't have a house, we rent, wife always works too, I struggled thru alot and to be honest everything I have I got for cheap... people look at my wife's "car" and assume I'm a baller or something. even some of my buddies from high school when they see me thing I slang. I started at the bottom, the 1st 4 maybe even 6 years of my electrical career I got CRAP pay. but I'm now licensed and in the union and make good money. but if you want to count, I have a loan for $5000 that I took out to buy the raptor $1500 (needed tires, rear brakes replaced, tierod ends) and ltr $2,000 (needed bumper, grab bar), I've dumped maybe a couple grand extra on top of that $3500 into each. the 250 I got for $500 (motor needs a FULL rebuild) my truck I got new for $30,000 sticker was 37, the 20"s were 1g tires were used paid like $500 for um. wife's expy I got for 16,5 the 22"s I got for 400, tires were like 900 (new) so I don't really have money, I have good credit and use it for all it's worth lol. I'm just as broke as everyone else, I just happen to not smoke, not dip, not do drugs, HARDLY drink and I mean I have a case I bought a week or two ago and I think I have half left. I have holes in all my work jeans, I have a hole so large in my work boot I literally somehow lost the steel toe. my truck needs all kinds of money to fix it and I let it get worse lol. I pretty much divert ALL the money I can into having fun... I don't buy ANYTHING unless it's a KILLER deal. I got my kids LT80 for $250 not running and fixed it. I flipped a pair of china bikes (got them for $120 for the pair broken, fixed them made them nice and flipped them and made $550 but did put in a bit of money so made out with like $300 and wrench time/experience prior to the LT80 so I could afford the LT80 actually)

all I'm saying is I didn't wake up on a pile of toys that just bought themselves. I hustled my way to where I'm at, and IMO I'm not very far from where I started... I have loans for all the rides besides the 2 strokes lol and both aren't currently running so... if you got credit you can get nice things ;)
