What is the reasoning for that massiveness?
Bronco, how long before you weld a turbo to a flange like that?

thats what i thoughtThat almost makes it cheap enough to play around with
thats what i thought
but if you really mount it on a blaster, i hope its a cheap extra engine for obvious reasons
That's only one of the issues of a 2s. Seeing as it doesn't have an oil circulation system, you have to make one.And how would you feed it oil?
great idea! but it wouldn't pump the volume of oil required to keep the turbo lubedMaybe just install the stock oil pump back in? then instead of feeding the carb oil just feed the turbo?
Hell on a turbo, i say go with a small supercharger!
There have been more than one turboed blaster. very low psi, but done. Search for itI know it's an old thread but turbocharging a single cylinder 2-stroke ain't happening, 2 cylinder(or more) 2-strokes can be done.
If an 2-stroke is 'on' the pipe you are already boosting the cylinder by about 110% so if turbocharged it is always on the 'pipe' and some!
Look up some turbo'd Banshee's !
