what modifications need to be done to have a 400ex rear shock fit a blaster?

you need to make a new upper bushing and drill out the lower shock mount a little, that is it

Ok what about ride height .How much higher will it sit?I have read 1 inch.If so couldnt you just drill a new shorter hole in the bottom?Im getting my 400ex shock today.Would like to know from someone who has done it before.ThanksI:I

Getting new bushing in

Well i got it but in the process i knocked some of the rubber out of the bushing in the 400 ex shock.I got the new bushing in but its not centered too good.One side is out of line but it still has some rubber in there.I guess im just going to mount it and see how it goes.Also what does the adjustments do at the bottom of the shock,soft hard?There is a lso one at the top of the shock soft and hard.Thanks:">

Did anyone have to cut the rh side fender mount off the frame? It seems like the shock rezzy will hit when the rear suspension is compressed ?

How do you have an '07 blaster? Yamaha stopped making them in '06 didn't they?

yeah they did in America but not over in the UK lol they stopped making them in 07 in the uk
