4 wire stator

what year did 4 wire stators come on? also which wires go where? as far a connections go...

im haven the hardest time tryin to figure this thing outX(

03+ have a 5 wire stator PRE 03 have 4 wires. as for what wires go where do a search on this board for the manual its free and worth having

/\/\/\ correct, and i have been told the 5 wire can be made to work on pre 03 blasters

I have a 97 blaster with a 75 watt ricky stator which came with 5 wires. Here is what it looks like. Ricky Stator In my case I had to hook up I think the green wire .It was a ground and I hooked it up to the bolt on the coil. I also want to add a floating ground to the stator so I can add a battery.

awesome. thanks awk. i got frustrated with the manual and did it the electricians way....I busted out the multimeter and started troubleshooting some ish...

and i got it working and managed to juice myself during a spark check <--- rookie move, i no....
