does anyone know what running 4 stroke oil in a 2 stroke would do?
im asking cause i know someone thats been doing it since day one..
just pouring 4 stroke oil into the injection system.. i said not to use 4 stroke in a 2 stroke. and of course get the response WHY?? so my ? to you guys is WHY?? cause i dont have the technical answer..

The motor still has good compression and at least 40 to 50 hrs. of run time. ive put new plugs and and switched it to premix 50 to 1 on klotz.
and were talking about a 50 hp yamaha outboard.

im thinkin he's prolly gettin away with this because i believe that most injection systems mix it way rich, ours is(was) like 20:1,
i'll bet that if he was mixing it , it'd fry'd by now
the 2 stroke oils are formulated to to seperate from the gas in the cylider to lubricate the internal parts and also with added lubricants
specifically for 2 strokes, the 4 stroke oils are formulatted to hold their viscosity under high heat and lubricants for the valve train and detergents, that must be why there is no different weights for 2 stroke oils
just what came to my twisted mind????
