Just wondering if the blaster doesnt need the choke to start does that mean the pilot jet is too rich?Just starting the breakin and man does it smoke.I hope its not leaking oil into the crank.

Not all the time.I dont need my choke when i start my quad up.Best thing to do is just run it hot for about 15 mins or so and check the plug to see if your running rich or not..its gonna smoke.
well.... mine never had to use the choke.... but after it went in for its first topend/crank rebuild i always had to have the choke on when it was cold
If your using the carb as it comes with a #48 pilot it's the cause of all the smoke and no need for the choke. On my sons we use a #38 pilot, you'll have to experiment to see what works for you.
