34MM PJ pod air filter

what are you guys using for a clamp on filter with the 34mm PJ?

i got this in my cfm airbox, but i use a uni so i have no need for it and my pj is just sittin here, so lemme look tomorrow, maybe this will fit............

checked that filter out this morning, seems it already has a ring of flat blue silicon looking stuff inserted as a reducer and it still has about a 1/4 inch gap around the back of my pj 34mm, but most guys say it's best to run an extender tube, it helps straighten the airflow out, versus just putting the filter right on the back of the carb, most guys use whats known as a "fernco" coupling, available at your local hardware store, you can get them to adapt 2 different size things together, but here...knowpig used his old airbox boot to adapt a 30mm, but you get the idea, but the fernco will work better and comes with the clamps, like $6
so your call if ya want it or not, but it will require an adapter
i've seen this same filter at advanced auto for $30
but you could also get a "uni" pod that will fit right on for like $15 on ebay

thanks for the replies guys, this may be a temporary deal since i don't have plastics just yet but i still want to get the thing up and running. hopefull its not too much of a b!tch to get jetted
