34mm airbox boot

i bought a cfm airbox and they sent me a carb boot for like 28 to 33mm carb and i have a 34mm carb. i told them so they sent me one for the carb i have and it still didnt fit. so i complained to them and they said thats the one for me but it had like a 1/4" gap around the carb where the boot is suppose to fit snug to. they told me to put the smaller boot inside of the other boot to make it work. but its a total pain in the ass because it doesnt want to fit right and then gas gets in between the two and makes it slippery. anywho, i always hit this guy up AWK for answers to my probs and this guy is a huge HELP! so if u guys need help dont tell him i told u so lmao. anyways he gave me this website called siliconeintakes.com. so for future reference if u buy this cfm airbox, do not get the 34mm carb boot from cfm, get it from siliconeintakes.com the have prolly any size u need. reps for awk, thanks buddy

im using a 2" nohub plumbing fitting for mine and it works great.

did u have to stretch it? i just bought a reducer of 2.5 - 2.25
the carb O.D. is 2 5/16" and the boot is 2 1/4, so i hope it fits like a glove and gets rid of all the pain in the ass probs, and make it easier for me to mount and dis mount my carb and air box.

oh i just looked up the 2" no hub plumbing fitting and the inside I.D. is 2 3/8" thats why it fit i assume.

I run 2 of these with 34 and 35 mm carbs.The piece they give you looks big but snugs down with no problems and fits tight with no leaks.The wesite looks cool and will check it out but the one they gave you just tighten it till it fits snug.Be careful of awk though. lol jk Top notch stand up guy.

i run one with a 35mm pwk and it was the same way ust crank it down and it will seal fine

deezzy, you did the right thing, the siliconintakes.com i sent ya to has every conceivable size/reducing boot known to mankind,
look under the "silicon reducers"
i paid like $10 and it works like a champ, they even have red, blue and black, of course i got a red one, i also bought 2 clamps for it from them for a couple bucks, and got it in like 3 days

i tryed snugging it down and there was still a gap. trust me i tryed givin it everything but would seal air tight. the boot they give is like a 1/8" bigger then the 34mm carb
