34 mm intake manifold

^^^^^^^^^ he stated intake manifold which would be the boot from reed cage to carb. But you never know.lol

yeah thats what i meant. i got confused when you said about how yours only works with a pod filter. i didn't know the intake manifold going into the engine affected what you put on the other side of the carb

At the risk of sounding "useless and snotty", I would never kludge up a stock intake, but then I'm always willing to spend money to do things right. UPP is the best way to go.

I'm not afraid of spending the money on the correct one I was just wondering if it was possible to do so and have good results

Let me put it this way. Stock intakes are prone to crack for no reason. I wouldn't push your luck with stretching one out. Just buy the correct intake and rest easy that you won't melt down a motor due to an intake problem.
