Just bought a 96 blaster, found that it had a 330 jet. I know it comes stock with 230. Just wondering what engine work might have been done to use that size jet

well im running a 340 but jet size doesnt always dirrectly relate to engine mods. im up in the 340 rang because ive got a big ass 36mm carb, vforce reeds, project blaster aluminum airbox with a uni filter with outwears lid, and a 240 big bore. so for me, it needs quite a bit more fuel to match up with the amount of air thats going into it.

well, no. in order for you to be running a 330 you almost have to have engine mods. unless somehow the air pressure where you live is like 25 psi lol. you can pretty much tell by lookin at it if it has an aftermarket pipe or not. and if you pull the carb off and reeds out you can see if they are aftermarket or not, and look into the engine and compare it to a pic of a stock intake and see if it's been ported. also remove the seat and see if there is an airbox lid.
