i have only gone through one full tank of gas since owning my blaster, but when i refilled, i used a 50:1 mix ratio, like it says in the manual i downloaded from here. Does it run better with the 32:1 ratio or 50:1 ratio? i'm just curious. there is probably better flow through the carb w/ 32:1 since it is a leaner mixture.

i personally wouldnt run anything over 40:1 with your set-up, but i run 32:1 in mine, but its your call!!!

Run 32:1 It is good insurance. Oil is cheap and so are plugs. More oil is better than less oil it will make the engine last longer.

32:1 is richers then 50:1 just so u know..I run mine at 40:1 and never had a problem when u get into the 50:1 u got little oil to gas ratio and then u get into the problem of not enough oil to lube the piston...but i have heard of people runnin 52:1 and what not just depends how often u wanna rebuild ur motor....hope this helps pce

on air cooled motor like the blaster your best bet is to run a good prmeix oil that contains castor and is part synthetic at 32-1 or even 28-1 ,castor burns at a hotter btu than gas so it actually makes power and more oil is less friction heat and better ring seal . the best oils are klotz supertechnaplate and castor 927

uhh.. 50:1 is a bit too lean, by looking at your mods, you don't have enough engine work to do that....

if you are looking for a leaner mixture, don't go all the way to 50:1... i burn 40:1... and it works for me... but you may want to stick with 32:1

yeah 32:1 is 32 parts gas 1 part oil, more oil than, 50:1 being 50 parts gas and 1 part oil, definitley go to 32:1, and i believe the injection stock is 28:1 which is a little rich

The rings will take the 50:1 the crank won't There is a reason most racers run 32:1 They ride wide open for 40 min. and the engine sees another day.
