Hi all.

I´ve been looking on this.. :

30mm CPW Race Carburetor:

This carb fits on your stock intake boots.
Uses all Keihin replacement parts.
Must use Motion Pro Keihin Cable below! (for thumb throttles)

But i have one question, regarding the TORS.. When i install this carb and new throttle cable.. Will I then simply disconnect the TORS wires from the old carb and remove it with the carb?????? Will it then be completly eliminated?! Or do i need to loop any cables / plug that remains on the quad..

The quickest and easiest way is to loop the wires that are on the harness together. That way it still thinks that the TORS is still in the system.

man if im not mistaken i think the tors has to do with the oil injection. so i bought an oil block kit from vitos and an aftermarket carb cap kit. i took the carb and tors off disconnect the tors from the carb and replace it with ur new carb cap kit.

i have a 30mm similar to the one pictured and they are a pain in the a$$ to get in a stock boot but still possible. about the tors i just removed it completely and ran the 2 black wires into each other (btw my quad is an 06) thats just wut worked for me it may or may not work for u but its worth a try.

When the throttle is released there is a microswitch in there as well as the carb. Both must be in sync with each other. Say the carb slide doesn't retrack all the way to the closed position but the throttle is, this will shut the bike down.

So you guys mean when the tors is removed.. then there will be some wires left over on the frame near the carb.. and there should be 2 black wires? ... Then I should be able to "weld" the 2 black wires hanging on the frame where the tors used to be.... and TORS eliminated and bike will run with the new carb. (mine is also a 2005)

You need only to take the connector that connected the harness to the carb and twist them together, tape and that's it.

I have one of those carbs for sale in nearly new condition. I put it on a bike I never got running so its never even been rode on. I also have main and pilot jets so you can jet it in. I'll take $150 shipped anywhere in the U.S.
