Has many of you may know I am building an MX blaster. My question is what length swingarm would be best for MX racing? +3 to +4 seems to be the norm. What would you guys recommend and why?

Never mind. According to Sean from Snyder Motorsports. From all of his years building, and racing Blasters. +3 is the best for MX. So no need to post anymore on this, unless you have conclusive evidence to say otherwise.

I was wondering the same thing.I am ordering a new swingarm next week I was thinking about going with the +4 with a yfz450 shock.

It doesnt make sense. Someone on here said that you could not put yfz rear shock unless you had atleast a +4 swingarm. IDK why, because the shock mount should have stayed in the same position. Anyway i would go with a +3 swingarm for mx

I know the tracks that are in the CRA. We have been on all of them and the blaster needs all the handling it can get. The +3 was stable but when it comes to overall handling in and out of the corners, the +2 was the better choice for us and many of the other quads that we built to run in that series.

I am picking up a +3 roundhouse tomorrow. I am getting it cheap as hell. Otherwise I would take the advise, and get a +2.

I'm look for a roundhouse setup where did you find them for that price? Thanks

I got mine from Snyder Motorsports. He is parting out another quad with all the same parts. I got a package deal on a bunch of stuff. I can check a price for you if you want. I am going over there tonight after work. He basically gave me the swinger for $400 picked up. It was in really good shape, just needed some cleaning.
