What do you guys think of the +3 cranks. got a project blaster for my GF and needs a crank should i get the +3 or leave it stock. she rode a banshee before and did fine but im thinking she wont like the short wheelbase and it will come up to easy. thanks

as far as the crank goes i would say go ahead and get it, there isnt much of a price difference for it and you will get a little more power out of it. to get the most of it you can get the cylinder ported to match the +3 crank by one of our sponsors, Kenoconnor, flotek, or wildcard. They all do excelent work. As far as the bike in general you will have to ask her after she rides it. There are ways to make the blaster ride much better and it can do wonders in the trail compared to larger bikes... welcome to the site!!

It starts so innocently.... "Just a few more dollars" you think in the beginning... before long you're running the checking account dry getting every go fast part you can get your hands on...

What really sucks is when the modding infection spreads beyond just Blasters. I found myself going after Banshees with a modding passion this winter... Great idea. Terrible timing. I had to (make myself) sell my two project 'Shees to keep me from selling my Blaster for money to finish the Banshee projects. Whew!!
(Yes, I know most people would have built the 'Shee over the Blaster, but anybody can throw a 4mm crank and BBK on a 'Shee engine and go after the 450's. I plan to hand a couple YFZ's their asses with a Blaster. More of a challenge that way, and more fun when you actually succeed in doing it!

I have the +3 crank and I like it alot it seems to have added alot of low end torque. but like they said with the bug I got bit because I got new exhaust, carb, air box, nerfs, big bore and it was all in the last week but I have to go fast to win first race of the season is in 7 weeks

true that. i want to make people with 450s and stuff say what the hell you got in that. and when i tell them its a blaster i want them to be speechless.
