longer stroke/piston movement= more power. but you also need to have your cylinder portmatched, head redesigned, bigger carb and a good am exhaust to support the upgrade or the improvements are minimal
better throttle response more displacement and more hp and torque but the only way to really get all that power is to get the top end ported to match the timing of the +3
as said above it is a good upgrade but only with the right mods.If it is going on an unported cylinder with no carb,pipe upgrades etc etc then save your money
