265cc blaster...

@BLANER I believe the first race was a raptor 700 and a 660 the second was a 400ex probably a 440 and the last from left to right was a banshee, 450R and the blaster he just barely won against the shee at the last second. super noober I'd buy it the market is overcrowded with 240 Kits there's nothing really special about them any more except you can get them ported but big deal.I could probably keep up with a 240 on my stock bore but if not who cares.

@ racer51: not common in S.Africa, in fact i dont know of anyone with a 240, never heard of anyone either! got one sitting waiting to go in, il be champ!:)

Yea I figured but in the states every brother from another mother has one and it's suffocating cause they think their king sh*t and you can almost touch em. Dont get me wrong I think there badass but someone needs to create something like a +50cc kit and make it nasty and reliable on a flexible budget.

Has anyone noticed that the 265cc kit would also require a 6mm stroke?

73mm bore, 57mm stroke = 238cc
73mm bore, 63mm stroke=263.7cc

Winner winner chicken dinner!!!!!! I was waiting for someone to pick up on it.Good luck finding a 6mm crank.

Don't forget to send your cases out for trenching to hack job racing I mean hjr hahahahahhahahaha If you do you will not be happy.HJR sucks big balls and sucks as a builder period!!!!!!

I was talking about this kit today a work and then thought it's only a 73mm bore and that is not right... The Tinity 265 big bore kit has a 75mm piston on the first bore and has a 77mm on the last bore, and you have to bore out the case to fit the big 265 sleeve. The CT 240 has a 72mm piston on the first bore and a 73mm bore on the last bore.

CT 240
72mm bore, 57stroke = 232
73mm bore, 57stroke = 239

Tinity 265
75mm bore, 57stroke = 252
77mm bore, 57stroke = 265

MY Ct 240 with a 72.50 piston, and a 4mm stroker = 252cc

This 265 kit is just a Wossner 73mm piston for my 240 on the last bore and the same Cometic copper head gasket. How far can this sleeve be bored out and can you get a bigger piston for it over 73mm, and the 73mm copper head gasket wont fit any thing bigger then a 73mm piston. So can you find a bigger copper head gasket for it if you can get a bigger piston??? Also do you have to bore out the case to fit the big sleeve or is this just a 240 sleeve on its last bore...

You are correct!! If you go this route the cases do need to be bored in order to fit the sleeve.I am pretty positive the true kit starts out with a 75mm piston.

All the ebay adds are written that way in order for someone to just buy it thinking they are getting a beast motor. There is always a sucka out there somewhere.

I have to correct my self because i just READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!!!! lol You must bore your cases for this kit, so it may be a 265cc cylinder in this kit Blaster 73mm 265cc Big Bore Kit Cylinder and Head Mod | eBay

BUT why is it only a 73mm piston???? that is not right!!!! But also if you look at the bottom of my Ct 240 cylinder that goes in the case it looks like it was machined down to fit in the case... So can this be just a 240 sleeved not machined to fit the case????
