$250 97 Blaster

New plan for rear suspension.
z400 rear shock as I can find them all day for about $30 shipped.
Then I need to get the bushings from Ken O'Connor racing.

also my Vito's carbon flex reeds came in, now i'm just waiting for that shift shaft seal to get here.

getting the cylinder bored next week then i can put her back together.

that means alot of pics coming your way.

Thanks, But I have head that's been shaved 20 thousandths thats going on it.

I'm also going to try my hand at making some custom heel guards.
My back tires are pretty gnarly and I'd hate to get my legs caught in them.

I just traded my buddy a broken xbox360 for his stock z400 rear shock, he upgraded to elkas.

I wish the rear engine mount and swingarm mount weren't shared so i could put my swingarm back on already. the motor won't be ready for another week.

Got the shift shaft seal today, Big thanks to mmajay for the sweet deal!

The z400 rear shock is on it's way as well.

Got my z400 rear shock a few days ago, I'll post pics as soon as I find the cable for my camera.

I just ordered the conversion bushings from Ken O'Connor Racing.

can't wait to put this shock on.

Good luck let me know how it goes i might do that mod here soon

It's actually pretty straight forward.

The only real work involved in the mod is drilling out the bottom mount on the shock to fit the stock blaster mounting pin.

And either cutting or reforming part of the air box with a torch so the reservoir doesn't rub.

Here's the z400 shock, I found the cable for my camera finally.

About time for an update.

I got the cylinder back from the machinist(finally) stupid 3 week turn around.

Not his fault though he does do a lot of business and is constantly busy with other motors.

The piston to skirt clearance is .002 a little on the tight side but he told me he likes the way they run at that clearance.

The motor is about 90% back together minus the reed cage, intake, and stator cover.

Going to put that stuff on when I mount the motor back in the frame.

I'll get some pics up tomorrow and some more work done, just gotta nurse this damned cold.
