ok so i traded my warrior for a 98 blaster last night it has a fmf gold series pipe and the powercore silencer it also has a k&n airfilter and the guy said it has a 240 bige bore kit in how would i know? I havent been able to ride it yet because the clutch cable is stretched beyond belief. Also i noticed the motor mounts were broke the guy said it was common in older blasters? i should have the mounts and cable fixed this weekend. so my ?'s are do the motor mounts on old blasters really break often and how can i tell if it has a 240 big bore kit in it? thanx. will put pics on here as soon as i get to it also what all can smoke with this thing

measure the piston and cylinder, their length's should be around 73mm(each) if its like 67 or 67.5 that means its just .040 bored.. which does not add any power whatsoever

Most 240 kits have the gray colored head and cylinder. It may have a 240 sleeve with looks like a stock cylinder.I thought that boring does add HP but A very insignificant amount at that.

yea see thats what i thought. i mean i rode a lil bit a min ago but like i said the clutch cable is stretched so it doesnt pull all the way in but it feels a hell of a lot faster than my warrior did i guess the guy didnt what he had

also the guy said he was running 50:1 i thought that was kinda high what do yall think is that high i was thinking 32:1

yeah i ran 50:1 and it ran awesome. 32:1 is alot more oil than 50:1 i would highly suggest 40:1. It is a good mixture with outbored oil or yamaha 2r oil

ight thanx i didnt think the mounts should break like that my dads gonna make me some new mounts. but yea i talked to a local shop a min ago and they sai 40:1 so thats what ill do
