2003 yamaha blaster help

i recently redone the topend because when i traded for it had a bad miss and when i took it apart it had half a piston gone.the atv runs good now until you rev it almost all the way out it has miss or cutsout .i put a 240 main jet in it and i have tried the stock jet with no change .what would cause it to act up like this

whats ur plug look like? what mods?

the plug is a dark brown color and it has boysen reeds and fmf gold series exhaust

loose wire? ground, check coil wires..

sounds lean try a 270 jet with the needle in the middle position

yeah you are a little on the lean side, not too bad drop a 260-270 main in it and do a plug chop, well do 2 start with 270 with clip in the middle, see how it reacts.

i will have to order the jets .could i just raise the needle all the way up and be allright.i will check all the connections thank for the help.would the motor be allright with the 240 in it as long as i dont run it hard .

no i wouldnt try it it will run but it will run hot and be hard on the piston /sleeve
