2002 Blaster rebuild

ok I have a question , orders a chain on ebay for a blaster 92 links , for some reason after I maxed out the adjustment its still loose , I think there are missing rollers

It is wear on the teeth face that causes a problem!

As a chain gets used it becomes longer and sprockets wear to accommodate the extra length.

Fit a new chain onto an old sprocket and it will try to stretch the new chain to be like the one that it had on it previously.

This can cause excessive wear on both chain and sprocket, maybe break the chain, and we all know how dangerous and costly that can be.

I often see broken spocket teeth on basket cases i get and always looks like older sprockets with newer chains. Sprocket/chain kits are cheap on ebay. Protect ur investment and marry ur chain with new sprockets, or youll be building a new engine with new cases soon
