new to the forums and i was wondering if u guys could help me my blaster runs great when i first start to ride it it goes for about ten minutes no problems. After that i dies while im riding it then its a biotch to start once it starts it runs for another 1 or 2 then it dies again and it takes about ten minutes to start it thats how i spend my day riding i probably have the strongest right leg here. i changed the spark plug it didnt help, i adjusted the needle on the carb, i cleaned the jets, i messed with the air/fuel mixture, i eliminates the tors, im basically out of answers hope u guys can help thanx

I had this happen to me with my old 250x. Everytime it got warm, it would shut off and if you kicked it hard enough, it would start back up. It was very easy to start cold, but get it warm and it dosent want to start. It turns out that the guy that owned it before me had put an slight overbore piston in the worn stock cylinder and as the metal expanded, it buitl up tons of pressure and semi-locked up, but then would cool down and would fire right up. Just throwing this out there, but check your piston clearences and cylinder bore.

i know on a sled worn out crank seals will cause that problem, ive had it happen to me. starts up nice but once it got warm it would just die and be a biotch to restart untill it was fully cooled off. not sure if the same thing applies to a quad though just tossing it out there. whats your plug look like?

the plug is like a light gray not black i read on here that the blaster should use b8es spark plugs ive been using br8es plugs im gonna switch to the old one and see how it runs

thanks everyone but i solved the problem i changed the carb out and my baby runs like a champ its like a new quad
