2001 Blaster Revs high and keeps going higher

Adjust the idle(its the only screw that sticks out enough that you can turn it with your fingers)

the one one on the tors that thing on the carb yes u can a just that but i would take the spring ot thats what i did left side of ur carb it should be all the way in

yea and fill your gastank with sand it will help out great for this problem.......

I know this thread is old and nobody will see it very timely but can someone post a pic of the left side of the carb while installed? Pretty sure im missing the idle air screw....

Trust me do a leak down test I know plenty of people that guessed wrong and ended up finding out the hard way when it was too late is worth the little bit of time to be 100%

Why not start a new thread? You'll probably get more responses, because when folks see the date, they tend to think its "old hat" which it is. Still a good read though.

got a 2001 Blaster that my nephew runs and when the thing starts she revs high then goes to extremely high? The only remedy I can find is to pull the choke out a quarter of a inch to control the high engine blowin idle.

Any one know anything bout this?
