Sounds like it's not getting enough gas. Did you clean the tank out good? If it sat for 3 years there's probably crap in the tank & petcock. Pull the fuel line off the carb & see how fast the gas flows out. Do it into a glass or something to see if there's any crap in it. Thats what I would try first. Clean the carb again too if you discover that's what's wrong with it.

ok thanks for your help...i was reading on other posts and i read that it might not be getting enough air....i took of the airfilter cover and it helped out alot....it is still bogging down a little bit but i t clears up after 4th gear...dont ask me y it does this but it helped....i am still getting gas coming out of the overflow and im gonna try and adjust the needle...and info would be great

sounds like something is stuck in ur needle valve....u have to take the float ass. apart and pull the needle out and check the o ring and the valve seat....more than likely theres something stuck in there and the needle cannot close all the way, thats why it would pour outta the overflow

i adjusted the needle one notch down and it cleared up the problem....the ol blaster hauls ass once again...thanks to all the help i got off here...i wish i woulda nown about this sight a long time ago
