Bike runs nice,,burning base oil 10w40 bad enough that its dripping from exhaust..what the f**k? has fresh pistons and rings can someone help?:-/

You have to make sure the oil is for a wet clutch system. The oil lubes the trans and. Lurch only. It sounds like you may have over filled it.

Gear side crankshaft seal needs replacing.

Leak test to confirm.

Do not start motor until leak test has been performed.

thanks for info but never seen this much oil. engine rebuilt. oversized.changed oil and put less than requested. starts first kick and idles fine. oil dripping from exhaust. BAD checked vent. ok. unscrew oil fill cap and bike reves out?

Massive air leak between gearbox and crankcase. possibly a blown or poorly inserted seal.

Do not start it again until rectified.
