I have recently purchased a 2000 blaster. It will start and continue to run as long as you keep giving it gas. It will not go into gear. This is my first blaster so i figured i will get some opinions before i start tearing it apart. Just wondering where would be the best place to start and solutions to fix the clutch problems. I am hoping to get this quad up to par asap.

The arm on the engine that the clutch cable hooks to must be pointing at a notch on the case in the ingaged position. The notch is kinda under the carb on case. To adjust you must remove side cover over clutch. You will see a bolt in the center of the pressure plate. You can loosen nut and adjust bolt lenght. That will change where the arm points. Look at arm position first, imo.
