2 blaster full rebuild/build

I just bought two blasters for me and my wife to build together. I bought mine for $200 100% complete bike. Motor was torn apart and it has a bad crank. Motor is suppose to be bored over but I haven’t checked it with a bore gauge yet. I plan on doing the Vito’s stroker and sending everything to ken. My wife’s I paid $300 for and it runs and drives, but needs a lot of work. The exhaust has been welded, it has no breather just straight carburetor. One of the ball joints has been welded in. It is a 02 but has a disk on the rear?(that’s not bolted to anything and no caliper or anything) I’m new to blasters but thought it came with drums. My plans for hers is to remain mostly stock and just restore it with new parts. Mine I want to get the tusk rear axle, American star front a arms. The yzf rear hubs, 400ex rear shock. And a bunch more. I have around 2700 to spend on them. I’m sure I left out a bunch of stuff but I’m at work on break and in a hurry. The only chances I have of working on them is Friday and Saturdays so that will be the only times I get to post updates. Hope y’all enjoy

The rear brake is a mechanical/cable caliper. Not the best system. If you can fabricate idImake a hydraulic setup. That rotor "floats" and has two boots on it and has a snap ring of sorts.
