i have a 1999 yamaha blaster and earlier this week i was riding pretty normal and actually kinda slow. But the gears started clicking (1st) and then it died. If i pull the clutch it starts and itf i dont it wont kick. it will go into neutral and first gear. What did i do? Ps im 14 so if this is supid im sorry

I took the cover off of the gears today and all the gears look good BUT the clutch plate thats the farthest in does not move when i pull the clutch.....

This happened to me once. I scattered the bearing on the counter balance shaft and it locked up the tranny. You will probably need to split the case and check the tranny and counter balance shaft and all the bearings for damage. It sounds intense but its not that hard. and after you do it a couple times its a piece of cake.

Mine still shifts into all gears...Did yours do that? Its not the clutch plate? How do i get to the bearing?
