1995 blaster spindle conversion

i have my 1995 blaster that has the conversion already done when i bought it... well i started rebuilding the bike and going threw the parts and noticed that my upper ball joints both have play...can someone please send pictures and details on what i can do... ive seen someone tap the side of the knuckle and put an 1/4 bolt into the ball joint... for some reason he has the ball joint threw the knuckle and drilled the ball joint and put a bolt threw it... i need help please alittle nervous

all 88-02 blasters use a pinch style top ball joint, if yours doesnt have the cross bolt, what is holding it into the spindle now ???

no i was gonna go and do that tomorrow
they put a bolt the size of a carter pin threw the ball joint it looks like they drilled the knuckle out to big

So between this and the reaming thread has me thinking 8-|, is the geometry of both spindles the same? :-/
