1993-1994 yamaha blaster carb. needle and seat

hey guys
i have a 93-94 blaster with a mikuni carb (27mm???)
it has been sitting for about a year and now it is pouring fuel everywhere.
the needle and seat is gone, the jets are all clean(went through it all) does anyone have a link for a needle and seat? or a complete rebuild kit?
my local yamaha dealer wants $80.60 for a needle and seat!!!!!

my dealer told me $56 for that float needle
but the moose rebuild kit i bought on ebay for under $20 comes with it
ebay search ....blaster carb rebuild kit like this one, i even see those parts pictured....

check on eBay they have carb rebuild kits or check the DIY posts. i saw a post about using toothpaste and a q-tip for cleaning the needle valve and seat...

Dom, here's a way to clean the carbuertor before having to go out and replace anything.

If you still need a carb kit, do like Awk said and get a Moose kit. They are complete, good quality, fairly priced, and work well.

The stock carburetor on a Blaster looks like the one in these pics. It is a 26mm Mikuni.

does anyone have the correct mm for the float level??
i can't seem to find it anywhere

Manual says Mikuni Carburetor = FLOAT HEIGHT: 20.0 ~ 21.5mm (0.79 ~ 0.85 in)

i got it now


its running finally
i still have the same issue with the throttle getting stuck which ramps the engine up to full RPM's..
heres some background on the bike.
i am the second owner... the previous owner put a twist throttle on(which i still have)... now where the throttle body screws onto the carb... the threads are stripped... now the throttle body is loose and can move side to side about 1/8th of an inch...
could this be the cause of the sticking of the throttle? cuz it is not bolted solid onto the carb?
