1988 rear brakes

I bought a rear brake from ebay, the guy said it was from a 1989 and it should fit a 88 jsut fine.
I tried to install it but the bolt holes dont line up, the holes on the caliper are to narrow???

Are thier different styles that fit different years?
Where could I find the proper caliper?

BTW its cable.

they all should be the same do you have the caliper bracket on right
